We just bought the Flip Ultra HD Camcorder and LOVE it! It is extremely easy to use, takes great videos (and you can make stills with its software). It is so tiny -- yet so powerful.
Right after we received our Camcorder, we went canoeing on Mosquito Lagoon. While canoeing, a school of dolphins visited us (they were about 10 feet away); and we were able to capture them on our camera (well some of them -- some of the video was my feet, 
-- I was so excited!).
We're using this hd video camcorder more and more often (then our reg. digital camera). It is because it is so easy to carry and have ready. We're out and about -- canoeing, bike riding, going to the beach ...

What is especially convenient with the Flip HD Camcorder is their software. Although the flip software is pre-loaded in the camcorder, it is recommended you go to the TheFlip.com site and download the software on your computer, before plugging in your new camera thru the USB.
That way you don't have to wait for the software to upload from the flip hd camcorder first.

I have the black Flip Ultra HD and love it. The only issue I had was it would not recharge. After searching all over the web I found out it was a very common problem. I shipped it back and they sent me a brand new one. I am very happy now !!
